"Echoes of Us" is an intimate, ongoing photo series that explores the paradoxes of love in all its forms—romantic, platonic, familial, and beyond. Through this project, I aim to capture the raw and often contradictory emotions that define meaningful connections. Love is not a singular experience but a complex interplay of tenderness and tension, joy and sorrow, unity and isolation. These dualities coexist within relationships, and my work seeks to visually articulate these complexities through the language of photography.
Inspired by my own experiences and connections, both romantic and platonic, this series reflects my desire to navigate the highs and lows that come with love. By focusing on a real couple as my first subjects, the images blend their unique story with my own, creating a narrative that celebrates the beautiful and imperfect bond that unites them. In "Echoes of Us," I strive to show that love, in all its forms, is not only about harmony but also about embracing the contradictions that make it real.
The debut sequence of the series featuring subjects M & J, will be on exhibit at Commune NYC in Brooklyn Friday Nov 1st from 7-1030pm.
