Nimmi is a Queens native who recently moved back to NYC after calling Oahu, Hawaii home for the past few years. As a 12-year old, she set out to become a forensic scientist as she discovered the field to be a balance between her love for science and desire to help victims of violence. Somewhere between high school and her forensic career, an artist was born.

With the mind of a scientist, a heart for nostalgia and an eye for capturing vulnerability, Nimmi’s focus is to explore the inner landscape and how it meets and mirrors the outer landscapes of life.
